Archer — Night Contracts
Stealth-archery assassin game. Infiltrate a moonlit walled district, stalk your mark through torchlight and shadow, and slip out before the bell rings. Three contracts plus a custom writ; guards, tower archers, hounds that hunt by scent, and a watchman with his hand on the alarm rope.
Archer — Night Contracts
You are a hired archer-assassin. Each contract drops you inside a walled medieval district at night: eliminate the marked target(s) and reach the north postern gate — unseen if you can manage it.
How to play
- WASD move · Shift sprint · C crouch · Space jump / mantle onto crates and roofs
- Hold Left Mouse to draw the bow, release to fire — draw time and the night wind shape the arrow's arc
- 1-4 switch arrows: Broadhead, Noise (lure), Bodkin (pierces plate), Fire (unlockable)
- Q / E lean · F silent takedown when unseen beside a victim · G drag / drop bodies (hide them in bushes)
- Esc pause. Every key is rebindable in Settings.
The ward at night
Guards walk fixed patrols and see in cones — crouch in shadow or foliage and their eyes slide past you. Tower archers watch the streets from the corner keeps. The hound tracks by scent and does not care about shadows; watch the wind pip (≋) on your compass and stay downwind. The bell watchman stands at the plaza — if he marks you, the whole district comes down on your head. Corpses left in the open raise the alarm; bushes keep secrets.
Contracts
Three authored writs of rising difficulty plus a Custom Contract with your own guard density, alertness, and hound count. Completing contracts unlocks new arrow types, upgrades (faster draw, quieter steps), and concept-art studies — all saved to your player record.
Session state is per player: everyone who joins the world gets their own menu, their own contract, and their own district instance.
