A love letter to Electronic Super Joy: everything you touch is a solid black silhouette, everything behind it is a neon field that pulses, flashes and breathes in lockstep with a BPM-locked synth loop — and everything kills you in one hit.

The quest

The Groove Wizard stole your butt. Chase it through 3 worlds × (3 levels + a boss): Groove City (128 BPM house, magenta), Wobble Wastes (140 BPM dubstep, cyan — low gravity, jetpack flight, and something big that eats slow runners), and The Wizard's Lair (150 BPM trance, purple — precision ledges and missile parties).

How it plays

  • Move ←→/AD · Jump SPACE/W/↑ — again in the air to double-jump
  • SMASH ↓/S in the air — breaks cracked blocks, pops missiles, and is the only thing that hurts bosses
  • Fly (jetpack levels): hold jump · Pause ESC · Quick retry R
  • Death is instant; so is respawn at the last checkpoint. Deaths are counted, never punished.
  • 3 hidden stars per level. Lasers and turrets fire on the beat — listen and you'll live longer.
  • Bosses drop their guard on a cycle: when the white core appears, smash through it.

Considerate chaos

Settings include a flash-intensity slider (photosensitivity), screen-shake scale, a colorblind palette, subtitles for audio cues, and separate music/SFX volume. All audio is synthesized in-engine; each world's loop is cut to exactly 8 bars so the visuals never drift off the beat.
