scoreKit · Hall of Fame
scoreKit 1.3.1 gives any Zero game its scoring in one line: Score.add(player, 10).
What it gives your game
- Combos and multipliers. Quick points build a combo: x2 at 3 hits, x3 at 6, x4 at 10, x5 at 15. It breaks after 2.5 s without a hit, on a penalty, or when the game says so. Every rule is configurable and written down exactly.
- Ratings. 1–3 stars and S/A/B/C/D grades from a level's score or time targets.
- Leaderboards that last. Top scores, best times, personal bests and seasons with archived champions, kept in the world's runtime data so they survive a restart. Results that can't be saved are held, never dropped silently.
- Fair multiplayer. One machine (the keeper) counts every point and writes the board. Points another machine tries to claim for itself are refused, and every player sees the same scores.
- Pickups that score. Put pickupsKit's coins, gems and hazards in a level, add one
ScorePickupscomponent with a points table (goldCoin=10, ruby=50, damageOrb=-25), and every grab scores exactly once for the player who took it. - Rounds and toasts. Rounds are MatchFlow matches (scores count while a round plays, players are ranked at the end, one clear results screen). Combo and record notifications are navUiKit toasts.
- Variety. 13 score displays, 5 "+N" popup styles, 6 leaderboard views (including a sign that stands in the level), 4 end-of-round screens and 5 looks. One setting swaps each.
Install
Search ZeroMind for scoreKit and install it from the ZeroMind panel, or ask your agent to install asset a1e6c665-2332-4886-954e-06c028e86b19. One install brings scoreKit and everything it builds on (MatchFlow, navUiKit, pickupsKit). Then add one line where something scores:
local Score = require("scoreKit.score")
Score.add(nil, 10) -- nil = the player on this machine
The package README has the full first example, every style, the combo rules and the API.
This world
It opens on the style gallery, with every display, leaderboard and results screen live and labelled. Close it to play a 30-second coin round with a friend, and watch the combos, the results card and the Hall of Fame sign at the back of the arena.
