What it does

bus

The kit's event bus on each peer: exactly five events (waveStarted, waveCleared, spawned, despawned, allWavesDone) plus "*" for all of them. Games listen through SK.on, which is bus.on; the Spawner fires events on the host, and the Spawner and Enemy components fire them on the other peers from synced state, so every event fires on every peer. Listeners and counters live in modules.state() and survive a hot reload; counts() says how often each event fired and lists the last 40.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

strict

on(name: string, fn: (...any) → void

Listen to one event (or "*" for all). Returns a connection; `conn:Disconnect()` stops it.

fn(...anyFor a named event fn(payload); for "*" fn(name, payload).

examples

SK.on("waveStarted", function(e) print("wave", e.wave, "of", e.waves) end)

Disconnect(self: any) → void

argtypedescription

fire(name: string, payload: any) → void

Fire an event on this peer. The kit calls this; a game normally only listens.

...any

counts( ) → any

How many times each event has fired on this peer since the kit loaded, and the last 40 events.

listenerCount(name: string) → number

How many listeners are connected to an event on this peer.

resetCounts( ) → void

Forget the counters (listeners stay). For tests.
