# fl_glow
A soft round glow on a flat card: the pool of light the beam lays on the soil,
and the halo behind the raised plate.
The card's own coordinates are what it reads, so it works on any quad — the
centre is the brightest point and the falloff runs to the edge. A slow breath
keeps it alive without reading as a flicker, and `ring` lifts a brighter rim
near the edge of the pool, which is what stops it looking like a blurred dot.
Written for additive compositing with no depth write.
| property | what it sets |
|---|---|
| `glow_color` | the colour at the centre |
| `edge_color` | the colour it falls off to |
| `power` | 0..1, how strong the glow is this frame |
| `intensity` | the overall brightness |
| `falloff` | how sharply it falls from centre to edge |
| `ring` | how much of a bright rim sits near the edge |
