dotbot (editor panel)

The DotBot agent panel — one dock tab per DotBot agent in the right dock, under the Agents menu beside the terminal agents' tabs.

Each tab carries the same surface bound to its own agent:

  • Toolbar — the agent's name with a chevron opening the agent picker, then conversations, new chat and overflow.
  • Transcript — user bubbles, the thinking line, tool cards, the answer, and a meta line per turn: model, thinking level, tokens, tool calls, duration, and who paid.
  • Composer — a model chip and a thinking chip offering only the levels the chosen model accepts, attach, send, and a hint line naming what pays for the next turn and what is left of it.
  • Agent picker — the three DotBot agents with their connection state and usage, the terminal agents with theirs, then "Connected accounts…".
  • Connected accounts — per provider: the plan, the usage windows, and disconnect.
  • Connect flows — ChatGPT's device code, and Claude's sign-in then paste.
  • Usage states — a notice under 25% of a window left, a warning under 10% offering a cheaper model only when that model is one this agent can run, and a blocked state naming the reset time that never falls back to another agent on its own.
  • Failure states — an expired sign-in, an expired code, a provider not issuing codes, and an engine not linked to an OrigoZero account.

Everything it shows comes from modules.dotbot.source, and every word it puts on screen for a reading comes from modules.dotbot.view. The panel holds only what is on screen right now: which view, which popup is open, how far a connect flow has run, and the unsent draft.

modules.dotbot.source is currently a fixture — it is wired to no plugin. With source.fixture.enable(false) the panel says "DotBot is not available in this build" rather than drawing a conversation nobody had.
