What it does

game.env.dressing

What makes NEKO-9 a café rather than a box: the brass columns up the atrium, the Lobby counter and its pendants, the cat furniture, the Library's wall of books and its reading nook, the rooftop tank, plant and festoon run, and the NEKO-9 neon sign on the north parapet.

dressing.build(root) spawns all of it under one root, marked temporary, and returns the practicals — the lamps whose intensity the dawn scales. It keeps clear of every anchor the mechanisms stand on: the lift shaft, both Lobby plates, the Library glass run and its plate, the heavy plate and the loft.

The sign's glyphs are drawn as tubes between explicit endpoints, and placed through a dir of -1, because the sign hangs on the north parapet and is read from inside the roof — the word runs the other way along world X than it would on a page.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

strict

structure(ctx: Ctx) → void

The atrium's own structure: four brass columns up the full height, and the coping that finishes the parapet. They are what gives a tall frame a spine.

ctxCtx

lobby(ctx: Ctx) → void

Floor 1 — the Lobby. Counter on the west, seating north, cat furniture in the corners, plants at the glass. Both plates (x = ±4.5, z = -4) stay clear.

ctxCtx

library(ctx: Ctx) → void

Floor 2 — the Library. Shelves the length of the west wall, a reading nook on the south slab, a ladder on a brass rail. The east strip past x = 4.19 is the glass run and its plate; nothing of ours stands in it but the one shelf unit at the shelves anchor.

roof(ctx: Ctx) → void

Floor 3 — the Rooftop Loft. Plant, tank, festoon lights, planters. The loft bed (north-west) and the heavy plate (south-east) belong to the tower slice, so both quarters stay empty.

seg(ctx: Ctx, mat: string, x1: number, y1: number, x2: number, y2: number, z: number) → void

A stroke between two points, because a neon glyph is a bent tube and a tube between two ENDS is the one description of it that cannot come out wrong. A cylinder's axis is +Y, so the rotation that carries it onto (dx, dy) is atan2(-dx, dy) — which is the whole of the maths in this sign.

ring(ctx: Ctx, mat: string, x: number, y: number, z: number, d: number) → void

A torus lies in the XZ plane, so standing it up on X faces it into the room. Its mesh is one unit across, which means the scale IS the glyph's height.
