What it does

preseed.captions

Investor title cards for the Raising Preseed film. A single zui screen driven by the director clock from the scene entrypoint: tick(t) picks the card whose window contains t, fades it on a 0.6 s smoothstep envelope, and unmounts the screen between cards. Lower-third cards sit on a translucent backing strip for legibility over bright scenes; the opener, the "Bring Your Own Agent" hero card, the pre-seed ask, and the closing origozero.ai end card render bare and centered — the end card holds through the film's final fade. Typeset in Berkeley Mono.

teardown() hides the screen when the scene unloads.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

preseed/captions.module — the film's title cards, as type in the world. A card is written against the PART it belongs to and the second it appears inside that part, never against a time in the whole film: part lengths move while a film is cut, and a card keyed to an absolute second silently walks into the part next door. `Director.timeline()` turns the pair into a clock time every tick. Placement is taken from the camera rather than from the world. Every card hangs a fixed distance in front of whatever the DemoCamera is doing: driven by a shot list, driven by the part itself, or being re-staged by somebody right now. It is sized against the lens, so it reads at the same size in a 36 degree shot and a 66 degree one and cannot be left behind by a camera move. The cards are billboards, so they face the lens as well. The closing ORIGOZERO card is not here: it is the film's own final part (p_endcard), and it is world-space type that the camera dollies into.
