# game.stage.canvas
The canvas of a big top that has been up too many seasons.
Two inks in alternating gores, a sewn seam down every join, soot in the peak
where the lamps have burned at it, damp and mildew climbing the hem, and the
vertical rain-streaks canvas carries between them. The gores sag between their
seams, done in the vertex hook so the sag is in the silhouette rather than
painted on.
Reads UV from `game.stage.tentGeometry.revolve`: u is the fraction round the
tent, v climbs 0 at the apex to 1 at the hem. `stripes` is how many gores go
round; `bounce` is a floor of self-illumination standing in for the sodium
light coming back off six metres of sawdust, without which the ceiling of a
tent lit only from the ring is black.
