What it does

aiKit.looks

Simple stylised bodies (humanoid, brute, bug, turret) built from the engine's unit meshes as local children, coloured and equipped from a preset's look (head: cap, helmet, hood, horns, hat, blind, target; gear: baton, rifle, longRifle, sword, staff, claws, spear, lantern, cannon). Every peer builds its own from the synced preset. update animates walking arms, crouching, turning, the attack lunge and hiding when down.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

aiKit.looks — simple stylised bodies for characters, built from the engine's unit meshes as LOCAL children (every peer builds its own from the synced preset, so nothing about a body crosses the network). A preset's `look` picks it: `shape` (humanoid, brute, bug, turret), `color`, `accent`, `size`, `head` (cap, helmet, hood, horns, hat, blind, target, none) and `gear` (baton, rifle, longRifle, sword, staff, claws, spear, lantern, cannon, none). `shape = "none"` keeps the entity's own visuals. local look = Looks.build(entity, preset.look) -- { pivot, head, parts, ... } Looks.update(look, dt, { speed = 2, yaw = 0.3, pose = "crouch", alive = true }) Looks.clear(look)
