Interface
What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.
conforms to
zero/source-extract/v2mix — the sound of FIRST LIGHT: SABAEAN MADCAPS as numbers. local Mix = require("game.sound.mix") Everything the Sound component plays is named here: the mixer channels and their resting levels, how far each one ducks under a spoken line, which clip answers which `sfx` name and at what volume and pitch, and which score cue belongs to which phase. Sound.component is the behaviour; this is the balance, so a level is changed HERE and heard everywhere. Restraint is the whole point: everything at full volume is the same as nothing. The bed sits under the game at about a third, the score under that until an ending, one-shots come in over the top, and a voice takes the room away from all of them for as long as the line lasts. Owned by the `sound` slice.
has(name: string) → boolean
The clip library Every reference is a LITERAL name, so each one is a recorded dependency of this module and the game still resolves its own audio when the world is installed somewhere else. The `score_*` cues are the generated pair of the synthesised `cue_*` ones and may legitimately be absent, so each is guarded by `asset.exists`, which asks the question without reaching for a handle.
