What it does

remotehost

Hosts the demo's transport bar (preseed.remote). Screen widget callbacks are delivered to component onCallback owners, so this component owns the bar's lifecycle: init on awake, refresh every frame, forward callback ids to the remote, tear down on destroy. The scene entrypoint spawns one host entity at demo start.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

preseed/remotehost.component — hosts the demo transport bar. Screens route widget callbacks to component `onCallback` owners, so this component owns the remote's lifecycle: it builds the bar on awake, refreshes it every frame, and forwards callback ids to preseed.remote. The scene entrypoint spawns one host entity at demo start; the entity is temporary and goes down with play mode.

❒asset
# remote Transport controls for watching the demo in play mode: a compact bar in the bottom letterbox band with previous (restarts the current part first, player convention) / hold-resume / next / replay buttons, the current part's name and local time, a scrub slider across the full timeline, and a time readout. Buttons carry keyboard shortcuts — Left, Space, Right, R. Seeking across a part boundary rebuilds the target part from scratch; scrubbing backward within the same part keeps its live state (the sim keeps whatever already happened — jump one part back and forward again for a clean replay). The scene entrypoint drives the lifecycle: `init()` at demo start, `tick()` per frame, `handle(id, value)` from its `onCallback`, `teardown()` on stop.
