What it does

Screens

Every screen of Battle Zone Zero, drawn as one UI screen (bzz_screens) whose content follows Rules.state.phase: the title (BATTLE ZONE ZERØ chrome/neon logo, blinking PRESS ENTER TO DEPLOY, hi-score, DEPLOY button), the in-play HUD (heading-up radar with sweep and red enemy blips, reticle, SCORE/WAVE/HOSTILES, tank-silhouette lives, segmented hull bar that turns red and blinks when low, wave/death banners, red damage flash, scanlines) and the game-over / victory screens (final score vs hi-score, REDEPLOY). deploy from game.ui.menu (Enter, Space, pad Start/South, on-screen button) calls Rules.startGame. Lives on the scene's Game entity; mounts on the first play frame and unmounts in edit.

❒asset
# rules Battle Zone Zero's constants (palette, tank, shell, enemy and wave tuning), its live state (phase, score, hi-score, lives, wave, hull) and its rules. Every slice requires `game.rules`, reads tuning from it and changes game state only through its functions (`startGame`, `damage`, `beginWave`, `clearWave`, `addScore`, `registerTank`...). `Rules.on(event, fn)` subscribes to game events; the list is at the top of `init.luau`.
