# ts_crowd
Race-weekend spectators for the Nordschleife: photographic people cut from keyed image_gen crowd strips, drawn as one hardware-instanced unit quad per person that turns about its base to face the camera. The sprite, size and mirroring come from the instance matrix and a hash of its origin; a sunlit rim outlines the silhouettes when the camera looks into the sun. Used by `ts_crowd.material` in the `ts_detail_*` populations that `nring.trackside` builds.
