dv_whisper.soundClip

A daeva's own voice: a dry ash-whisper with a hollow drone under it, carried on the daeva itself as a spatial looping source, so what you hear is how close one has got. Quiet on purpose — it sits under the temple's own bed and only becomes audible when something is nearly on you.

What it does

dv_whisper

A daeva's own voice: a dry ash-whisper with a hollow drone under it, carried on the daeva itself as a spatial looping source, so what you hear is how close one has got. Quiet on purpose — it sits under the temple's own bed and only becomes audible when something is nearly on you.

2.4 seconds, 16 kHz mono, stored as pcm. Every partial in it sits on an exact multiple of 1/2.4 Hz and the breath envelope runs a whole number of cycles, so the loop wraps with no seam; the pcm codec keeps the head of the clip, which an Opus loop would clip off at the join.
