What it does

title3d

A module script.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

preseed/title3d.module — extruded 3D text entities for demo titles. Tessellates a string with `font.textMesh` (true glyph outlines, extruded), centers it, uploads it as a GPU mesh and attaches it to a fresh entity with a PBR material. Returns the entity id and the material handle so callers can animate emissive strength.

center(positions: ?) → void

Center flat-array positions on X/Y (layout starts at the origin and runs left-to-right; centering puts the entity origin mid-string).

opts: { text, font?, size?, depth?, pos?, rot?, name?, color?, metallic?, roughness?, emissiveColor?, emissive?, castsShadows? } → id, materialHandle, width, height (nil when the font is missing)
