What it does

navKit.catalog

Every movement style (walker, runner, heavy, flier, swarm, wheeled, sneaker, climber), map type (grid, waypoint, layered) and link kind, as data labelled with a family and tags. find filters them, defineStyle adds your own. Read by the crowd every frame, so a style change applies at once.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

navKit.catalog — every movement style, map type and link kind navKit offers, each labelled with a family and tags so a world can list them and pick one. local C = require("navKit.catalog") C.style("wheeled").speed -- 5 C.find({ kind = "style", tag = "vehicle" }) Styles are plain data. The NavAgent reads them every frame, so a style changed while running takes effect at once (and re-plans, because its link costs and refusals may differ).

Every name a map kind answers to: the ids, then older names kept working ("layered" is "multiLevel").

defineStyle(id: string, def: any) → Style

Register (or replace) a movement style. Unset numbers are taken from `base` (default walker), so a new style only states what differs.
