Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

Cuts the ski track into a snow surface's own vertices, and keeps it cut.

reach(shape: Shape?) → number

How far the cut reaches from the track's centre: the outer ski's line plus its own groove. The trail ribbon's rope stands just outside this, so both halves of the carve agree on where the snow stops being cut and starts being piled.

argtypedescription
shapeShape?

attach(opts: ?) → void

Take over a surface. `heights` is the y of every vertex of `mesh`, in the same order the mesh was built in, which is what the cut is measured from.

argtypedescription
opts?

active( ) → boolean

Whether a surface is being carved.

frame(track: any, first: number, count: number, ring: number) → boolean

Cut the samples in `[first, first + count)` of `track` into the surface. `first` is a ring index and the window wraps, so a run that crosses the end of the ring is two calls rather than one that reads past it.

ringnumber

release( ) → void

Fill the cut back in and drop the buffers.
