CabinetShot
One continuous camera move on the entity that carries it, running from the arcade cabinet's screen out to the room the cabinet stands in.
The move is a list of stations — a world position and a field of view each — eased end to end over
duration. The camera passes through every station without stopping and without cutting, so the
screen becomes a bezel, the bezel becomes a cabinet, and the cabinet becomes a row of them, in one
take.
Fields
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
playing | Set true to run the move from the top. It clears itself at the end and holds the last station. |
duration | Seconds the whole move takes. |
progress | 0..1 along the move. Readable while it runs; writable to scrub while playing is false. |
looping | Restart at the top instead of holding the last station. |
Where it goes
On a Camera entity standing square-on to the cabinet's screen. The stations are authored in world
space against the cabinet at the origin facing +Z, so moving the cabinet means re-authoring them.
Quick start
local cam = entity.find("kiosk_cam")
cam.component("CabinetShot").playing = true
