TODO: describe this module.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

FURROW — the film's constants: the shot table, the time marks, the palette, and the geography every slice places things against. This module is DATA. It holds no behaviour and touches no entity, so any slice may require it without ordering concerns. The two functions on it (`clarity` and `furrowHead`) are pure functions of film time. Owner: the CAMERA & TIMELINE slice. Other slices READ it and must not edit it — if you need a new time mark or a new landmark, ask that slice to add it.

clarity(t: number) → number

THE CLARITY CURVE — the film's arc, as one number per instant. 0 = the crystal noon of shot 1. 1 = the brown-out of shot 24. The LIGHT slice drives atmosphere, fog, sun colour and exposure from this; the SAND slice scales its airborne density by it; the SOUND slice opens the wind bed with it. One curve, so the whole world thickens together.

tnumber

furrowHead(t: number) → void

Where the furrow's head is at film time `t`, in world space. Returns `{ x, y, z }` with y on the pan floor.

argtypedescription
tnumber

shotAt(t: number) → number

The 1-based index of the set-up on screen at film time `t`.

shotProgress(t: number) → number

0..1 through the set-up on screen at film time `t`.

definition( ) → void

The cutscene definition Director hands to the runtime. The shot rows are copied, so Director can point a tracking shot's look at a live subject without editing the table every other slice is reading.

check( ) → void

Sanity, checked at every awake and logged. Three things must hold or the film is not the film: the shots add up to DURATION, every shot is a real cut length, and every named beat lands on the cut it belongs to.
