What it does

game.hacking.ui

The hacking slice's screens as widget trees: the Breach Protocol terminal (code matrix, buffer, daemon list), its timer strip and result card, the quickhack menu, the scanned-target readout beside the reticle with its upload bar, and a short glitch flash. It holds no state; the Hacking component builds a tree from the current puzzle or menu and registers it on layers 160-165 (U.LAYERS), redrawing only on input or events.

  • U.breachGeom(size, bufferSize) places the terminal; U.breachTree, U.timerTree and U.resultTree draw it.
  • U.menuTree, U.tagTree and U.fxTree draw the quickhack side.
  • Callback ids: hk:cell:<r>:<c>, hk:abort, hk:done, hk:qh:<i>, hk:qhclose.
