Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

The sodium node — the charge pickup of THE EIGHTH KETYL, as a parametric solid. Sodium metal is cut from the bar under oil and it looks it: a chipped lump with one FLAT bright face where the knife went through. That flat is the whole read — it is what makes the shape metal-that-was-cut rather than a rock, and it is why the shape is a rounded box intersected with a plane rather than a displaced sphere. Knobs: seed which chipping this is chip how deeply the faces are chipped cut how far down the knife went (0 barely grazes, 1 halves it) resolution contour grid over the longest side

⌬ Metadata
descriptionA lump of metal cut from a bar, as a closed solid — sodium, but the shape reads for any soft metal kept under oil. A rounded box with two swellings on it, chipped by low-frequency noise, then intersected with a tilted half-space so one face comes back dead flat: that flat is what says cut rather than picked up off the floor. seed picks the chipping, chip sets how deep the faces break, cut decides how far the knife went. Output is a watertight triangle mesh with a hard crease at the cut.
