What it does

WeatherGallery

What the weathering gallery dressing reads at run time from the material library: this collection's ids, the page size and page of materialLibraryKit's "all" view that holds all 28 on one ring (galleryLayout), each plaque's name lines and fact rows on one shared label grid (nameLines, factRows, gridSizes), where the ring's open gap stands for a scene piece (gapSpot), each entry's reference board material, and the hold flags tests use. Used by WeatherShowcase and the showcase scene.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

strict

ids( ) → void

The ids of this collection's entries in the library, in library order.

isMine(id: string) → boolean

argtypedescription
idstring

galleryLayout(list: { any }, minSize: number) → void

The gallery page size and page that show every weathering entry, and nothing else, on one ring of the kit's "all" view. Mirrors the core Gallery's pagination.

minSizenumber

pageAt(size: number) → number

hasTag(e: any, tag: string) → boolean

factRows(id: string) → void

The four fact rows a weathering plaque shows: kind and family; sticker or overlay and how it is masked; tile and texture cost; whether it moves.

argtypedescription
idstring

nameLines(name: string) → void

An entry's name as one or two lines, split at the space nearest the middle when long.

argtypedescription
namestring

gridSizes(nameSlot: number, rowSlot: number) → void

The shared label grid: one name height and one row height for every weathering plaque, the largest that fits the longest line.

argtypedescription
nameSlotnumber
rowSlotnumber

gapSpot(gap: number, out: number?, count: number?) → void

Where the open gap of the kit's "all" ring stands when WeatherShowcase widens it to `gap` metres (its `ringGap`): the gap's centre on the ground at the ring's radius plus `out` metres, and the yaw (degrees) that turns a piece's local +Z toward the middle of the ring. `count` is the number of bays on the ring (default: this collection's). Mirrors the core Gallery's ring layout (bay 0 straight ahead, +Z). Adapted from toonMaterials' ToonGallery.gapSpot (MIT).

boardMaterial(id: string) → any

The reference board material of an entry (the reference picture, unlit), or nil.
