A lit PBR black reference card: a rough (0.6), non-metallic dielectric with linear albedo 0.04, the darkest albedo a real dielectric has (charcoal, black velvet sit near it). Shadows and fill light should still separate it from pure black; if it crushes to zero, the shadows or the tone curve lose detail. Its specular highlight still reflects 4% at normal incidence, as every dielectric does. Drawn by @builtin::shaders.pbr, no textures. Part of the materialLibraryKit calibration shelf.
