What it does

controlsKit.schemes

The seven genre presets (platformer, twinStick, fps, racing, rts, rhythm, card) as data: each action's kind, label, default keys, pad buttons, touch layout and gestures. It is also the catalogue of every stick variant, button layout and gesture the kit knows. get(name) returns a safe-to-edit copy and errors on a typo; pass a modified copy to Controls.use as opts.scheme to make your own scheme.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

controlsKit.schemes — the action catalogue and the genre presets, as data. A scheme says, for every action a genre needs, which keys, which pad inputs and which on-screen touch controls produce it. The runtime (`~.controls`) reads these tables; nothing here touches the engine, so a world can read, copy or extend them freely. Binding vocabulary keys (keyboard and mouse), by action kind: button : { "Space", "KeyK", "Mouse0" } Mouse0/1/2 = left/right/middle vec2 : { up = {...}, down = {...}, left = {...}, right = {...}, mouseAim = true } aim from screen centre to mouse axis1 : { neg = {...}, pos = {...}, wheel = true } delta2 : { mouse = true } mouse movement (pointer locked or right button held) pad, by action kind: button : { "south", "right_trigger" } canonical pad button names vec2 : { stick = "left", dpad = true } axis1 : { axis = "left_stick_x", neg = {...}, pos = {...}, trigger = "right" } delta2 : { stick = "right", rate = 900 } points per second at full tilt touch: see `touch` below; gestures map a gesture name to an action.

get(name: string) → any

A fresh, fully resolved copy of a preset (every action carries its kind and label), safe to mutate. Errors naming the presets on a typo.

namestringPreset name, e.g. "twinStick".

register(name: string, scheme: any) → void

Register a scheme of your own (same shape as the presets) so `Controls.use(name)` and the rebind screen accept it.
