Ganesha: Guardian of the Portal

The last reveller left in a Ganesh Chaturthi festival walks through the portal that swallowed his town, is remade into a divine elephant-headed guardian, and fights down a chain of eight Rakshasas to the Portal Lord at the bottom of it — then walks back out into a town with its lights, drums and people back, and a sky with Ganesha in it.
