Amelia — A Lumenvale Tale

The lanterns of Emberbrook have started guttering out at dusk, however carefully they're lit. A soft grey quiet that folk call the Hush is drifting out of the Murmurwood, stilling birdsong and draining the colour from everything it touches.

You play Amelia, the lamplighter's apprentice. Armed with old Elder Fenwick's lantern, she sets out to find the ancient Heartwicks, the hidden flames that keep Lumenvale's light alive, before the Hush smothers them all.

Chapter 1 — The Quiet in the Wood

  • Emberbrook: an autumn market town of timber-framed shops, striped awnings, a stone fountain and townsfolk who all have something to say.
  • The Murmurwood: an ancient sunbeam forest with god rays, glowing mushrooms, a babbling stream, and a Heartwick shrine the Hush has nearly put out.
  • Rimecrest Pass: a snowbound mountain village with a frozen waterfall bridge and the warm Kindled Hearth inn.

Along the way you'll recruit Wren, a sharp-tongued herbalist mage, and Bram, a gentle giant of a shield-knight. You'll face the Hush Warden, and catch a glimpse of a grey figure watching from the trees.
