# Arcane Arena A third-person over-shoulder wizard duel in the Emberfall Sanctum — a circular night arena ringed by walls, braziers, and cover pillars. Face a CPU mage in a best-of-3: drop their HP to 0 to take a round, take two rounds to win the match. ## How to play | Input | Action | |-------|--------| | WASD | move / strafe | | Mouse | aim (camera) | | Shift | sprint | | 1-6 | cast the spell in that slot | | Esc | pause | No mana — every spell runs on its own cooldown (watch the sweep on the slot icons). ## The loadout Fireball (arcing, splash + burn), Frostbolt (fast, chills), Lightning Bolt (near-instant, pierces shields, stuns), Arcane Missile (weak but homing), Aegis Shield (frontal ward), Blink (short teleport with i-frames). Win duels to unlock Meteor, Ice Lance, and Chain Bolt in the Spell Loadout menu. ## Elemental counters - Ice bolts freeze fireballs out of the air — both die. - Fire hitting a chilled target thaws it for bonus damage; ice extinguishes burns. - Lightning goes straight through shields — the counter to a turtling mage. - The CPU knows all of this: it strafes, kites, shields under fire, blinks out of danger, and picks counter-elements against you. Three difficulties: Apprentice, Adept, Archmage. ## Progression Wins, losses, unlocked spells, your loadout, and settings persist in the world. The announcer's ROUND / FIGHT! / VICTORY calls are subtitled (toggle in Settings). Everything here — arena, spells, AI, UI, and every sound (synthesized WAVs) — was built end-to-end by an AI agent inside the Zero engine, with no external assets and no generation credits.
