Robot combat in the style of the TV show. Build your bot, roll it into the BattleBox, and fight an AI opponent for three minutes. Win by knockout, or on the judges' damage score when the clock runs out.
Build your bot
- Place every part yourself in 3D. Parts snap onto faces, and there are move, rotate and scale handles, mirror symmetry, undo/redo, and exact dimensions you can type in.
- 26 part types: base plates, frame rails, ballast; armour plates and wedge, box, dome and cylinder shells; wheels, tank treads, casters; vertical and horizontal spinners, drums, flippers, hammers and axes, lifters, crushers, ram spikes; batteries, the receiver, a self-righter, name plates and lights.
- Real materials: aluminium, mild steel, titanium, AR500, Hardox, UHMW and polycarbonate, each with real densities.
- Real limits: the 250 lb heavyweight limit, drive that only works where wheels touch the floor, weapon damage from real spin energy, and a battery that has to last the fight. The build sheet tells you exactly what's wrong until your bot is legal.
- Six preset bots to start from (HAVOC, RIPTIDE, MAULER, CATAPULT, JUDGEMENT, BULLDOZER), and your own builds save between sessions.
Fight
- Arcade tank driving in the BattleBox: floor saws, kill-saw slots, a screw pit and corner pulverizers.
- Every weapon you mounted works from where you mounted it. Hits land on the part they strike: armour dents where it's hit and keeps the dent, panels tear off, wheels and weapons get knocked loose, and losing your battery or receiver ends the fight.
- An AI that fights any design, including ones with backwards or sideways weapons.
Controls
- Drive: WASD / arrows / left stick / touch stick
- Weapon: Space / J / gamepad X or RB / touch button
- Self-right: hold Space / A when flipped
- Garage: G (build) and Enter (fight) on the title screen. In the build view: right-drag to orbit, the wheel to zoom, Q/W/E/R for tools, M for mirror, G for snap, Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y.
