bear country - tread carefully

A first-person hunting sim in mountain wilderness. Work bear tags from the trailhead cabin: follow tracks, scat, and claw marks, keep the wind in your face, stalk into range, and make the shot count. Bears see, hear, and smell you — and a wounded grizzly usually charges instead of running.

How to play

WASD move, Shift sprint (loud), Ctrl crouch (quiet), twigs snap
RMB aim, LMB fire, R reload — vitals drop clean, body shots wound
E inspects sign and harvests downed bears; trophies rate 1-5 on shot placement and size
Watch the wind arrow and noise meter; birdsong going silent means a bear is near
Fill the tag and return to the cabin to win; get mauled, shoot a protected sow or cub, or lose a wounded bear's blood trail and the hunt is over
Cash buys the scope, soft boots, scent cover, lures, the heavy rifle, and the licenses for the grizzly and the legendary Kodiak
