Grizzly Ridge

bear country - tread carefully

A first-person hunting sim in mountain wilderness. Work bear tags from the trailhead cabin: follow tracks, scat, and claw marks, keep the wind in your face, stalk into range, and make the shot count. Bears see, hear, and smell you — and a wounded grizzly usually charges instead of running.

How to play

  • WASD move, Shift sprint (loud), Ctrl crouch (quiet), twigs snap
  • RMB aim, LMB fire, R reload — vitals drop clean, body shots wound
  • E inspects sign and harvests downed bears; trophies rate 1-5 on shot placement and size
  • Watch the wind arrow and noise meter; birdsong going silent means a bear is near
  • Fill the tag and return to the cabin to win; get mauled, shoot a protected sow or cub, or lose a wounded bear's blood trail and the hunt is over
  • Cash buys the scope, soft boots, scent cover, lures, the heavy rifle, and the licenses for the grizzly and the legendary Kodiak
