Looking Glass
Glass, water, ice, gems and other see-through surfaces that actually look through. Version 1.0.5 of the glassLiquidsMaterials package: 25 materials for the Swatchbook material library (materialLibraryKit 1.3.1), each put on any object by its name.

What you get
- Real see-through. Windows, ponds and bottles show the room behind them, bent by the material's real index of refraction. A glass sphere flips the view like a lens, frosted glass blurs what is further away, and cracked glass breaks the room into slightly misaligned pieces.
- Colour from depth. Thicker or deeper material picks up more colour: a pond fades to olive haze, a green bottle darkens where two walls overlap, and a ruby is deepest red at its heart.
- Gems that sparkle without glowing. Facets and the light a stone sends back out give brilliance and fire. Nothing in the pack is emissive or metallic.
- Numbers you can trust. Every material lists its index of refraction and what colour it turns over what distance.
- Light on memory. All 25 together use 2.2 MB of texture memory, tile seamlessly and pass the library's seam, shimmer and web-budget checks.
- Shared with every player. A material applied by anyone shows for everyone, including players who join later.
Install
Install glassLiquidsMaterials from ZeroMind. That is the only step: it brings Swatchbook with it and nothing else, and needs no setup code. Then put a material on anything:
require("~materialLibraryKit.Materials").apply(object, "glassTintedGreen")
In this world
The world opens on the swatch gallery: every material on its sample shapes under the library's lighting looks, each beside its reference picture. In front of the spawn: a window wall with clear, frosted and stained glass; a table with a glass of water, a green bottle, honey, a candle and slime; a pond with clear and cloudy ice on its rim and six gems and a quartz point beside it; and a running stream.
