marquee_overlay
A screen-space translucent rectangle with a 1px border, drawn while a viewport
rubber-band (marquee) selection is dragging and hidden otherwise. It owns one
dedicated UI screen tagged editor, so it rides the EditorUI render layer and
the editor's F1 chrome toggle alongside the rest of the editor overlays.
viewport_select drives it.
Exports
M.show(ax, ay, bx, by)— show the band filling the rectangle spanned by the two corners, given in UI-logical points (theui.screenSize()space). Corners may be passed in any order.M.hide()— hide the band. Safe to call when nothing is shown.
Notes
- Callers work in viewport pixels; convert to UI-logical points (multiply by
ui.screenSize().width / viewport.wand the height ratio) before callingshow, since absoluteleft/top/width/heightresolve in the logical space, not render pixels. - Coordinates are rounded to whole points so a value in the open
(0, 1)range is never mistaken for a viewport-axis fraction by the size decoder.
