world_vcs.derive.worker

The entries world_vcs.derive.runner dispatches to job-system workers. Each runs in a worker VM, requires the module a hook names, and calls the hook's entry over data handed across as copies.

• fingerprint({ hook, snapshot }) answers the string the hook's fingerprint entry computes for the snapshot.
• compute({ hook, snapshot }) answers { bytes?, error? } from the hook's compute entry. The snapshot's read(rel) answers the staged bytes the runner fetched for the file.
