SkyResponse
The volume's sky term, evaluated when the sky changes instead of baked in.
Sits beside a VolumeProbe.
local sky = entity(volId).component.add("SkyResponse", {
skyR = 0.4, skyG = 0.6, skyB = 1.0,
})
sky:calibrate() -- two bakes, once
sky.skyB = 0.2 -- no bake
| field | meaning |
|---|---|
skyR / skyG / skyB | the sky colour the volume's indirect light is lit by |
| method | |
|---|---|
:calibrate() | bake twice and keep the two terms; returns { probes, floats } |
:isCalibrated() | whether those terms are held |
Until it is calibrated, moving the sky colour publishes nothing and the volume keeps whatever field its own bake gave it.
Calibrating restores the VolumeProbe's authored sky before it returns, so
what that component holds is unchanged by calibrating.
