ik.bones
List a rigged body's bones with their world positions and parents — the names
you need before naming an IK chain, and the positions you measure a solve
against from outside the component. Part of ik.toolbox; surfaces as
ik.bones.
Rigs rarely use the word you would guess. The standard humanoid here calls its
feet Ankle_L and Ankle_R, and no bone anywhere in it contains "foot". Guessing
a bone name produces an empty result that reads exactly like a broken solve, so
ask the rig instead.
Resolves the body itself or the first descendant carrying a rigged skeleton, so
it can be called on a character root without knowing where inside the spawned
hierarchy the skeleton lives. Also returns the canonical role map — what
IKLimb.role and IKRig resolve through. A rig with no retarget profile returns
an empty map, which is not a failure: it means chains on that rig are named bone
by bone.
Pass a substring to filter, since a humanoid carries around fifty bones and you usually want the four around one limb.
