README.md

loops_cut

Finds where each ring and chain of linked edges starts and ends. STAGE head marks the first edge of every list (a chain's head, a ring's smallest edge) in head, from next and head0 (the loops outputs) and label and par (the min rounds of jump); STAGE cut makes the edge before each first edge the end of its list in cut. The lists that result are what jump ranks. See loops for the whole sequence.

Over a live count (COUNT=device, see the abi README) the edges are the first domain_count slots of a capacity n, and the n param is not read. A slot past the live edges is no head (head 0) and ends its own list (cut is the slot itself). It binds 7 storage buffers (6 in the plain variant).
