attribute (nodebox)

The nodes that write, read, name, move and measure the columns a geometry carries on its classes (point, vertex, primitive, edge and detail): set, read, copy, rename, remove and number write and name a column; promote moves one between classes; gather, scatter, carry and transfer move values between elements and between geometries; accumulate, order, normalize, statistics and labels fold, sort and measure a column; choose deals each element a weighted, seeded choice.

A graph calls them as g.attribute.<name>, for instance g.attribute.set({ geometry = points, name = "height", value = g.element.id * 0.5 }). A node that writes answers the geometry with the column on it; order and labels answer a record of two outputs, read a column and statistics a Data table. Every node's README states its inputs and outputs.
