core.raster.column (procNode)

A layer of a raster as its stored column: the cells of every tile, apron included, tile after tile, each tile stride by stride cells with x fastest. What a kernel that works tile by tile binds.

Inputs

  • raster (Raster). The raster read.
  • layer (String). Default "height". The layer read.

Outputs

  • column: the layer's stored column.

Example

local raster = g.core.raster.new({ size = { x = 8, z = 8 }, resolution = 1, layers = { "height" } })
local stored = g.core.raster.column({ raster = raster, layer = "height" })

The stored column holds 272 by 272 cells: one tile of 256 cells a side and its ring of 8.
