geometry.measure

Measure a geometry into a Data table, read back from the device once. The geometry is left as it is.

Inputs

• geometry (Geometry). What is measured.

Outputs

• measure (Data). vertexCount (its points), triangleCount (each primitive of n vertices counts n - 2), bounds ({ min, max }, the axis-aligned box of the points), centroid (the mean of the point positions, so a finely tessellated region pulls it), surfaceArea (the primitive areas summed) and volume (the magnitude of the enclosed volume, meaningful for a closed surface).
