geometry.recalculate_normals
Recompute per-point normals from the faces (area-weighted). A point shared by two faces is smooth across them, and one split between two copies stays a hard edge.
The node is geometry.smooth_normals with a crease angle of 180 degrees and area weighting, so no point splits. To keep edges sharper than an angle hard, call geometry.smooth_normals with that angle; to smooth across a triangle soup, weld it first (geometry.weld).
Built from: geometry.smooth_normals.
Inputs
geometry(Geometry). Whose surface the normals are read off. Attributes and material carry to the result.
Outputs
geometry(Geometry). The geometry with one recomputedNper point.
