geometry.tangents
For every vertex of a geometry of curves: the unit direction the curve runs in there (from the vertex before to the vertex after), the curve it belongs to, its place along that curve, the vertices before and after it, and its position. A closed curve wraps around; the ends of an open curve look at themselves, so their direction is that of the first and last segment.
Inputs
curve(Curves). The curves whose vertices are read.
Outputs
frames(Record), one entry per vertex in each member:tangent(the unit direction),owner(the curve's primitive),place(the vertex's place along its curve, from 0),previousandfollowing(the vertex numbers before and after it) andposition(the vertex's point position).
local frames = g.geometry.tangents({ curve = g.curve.circle({ radius = 1, segments = 8 }) })
