mesh.cylinder
A cylinder with its axis along Y, centred on the origin: 32 segments round, smooth side normals and two flat caps. Use it for posts, pipes, wheels and trunks.
The side is 64 triangles and each cap a fan of 32, 128 in all; the caps hold their own points, so their normals are flat (+Y on top, -Y below) while the side's point straight out from the axis. uv runs 0 to 1 round the side and along it; on a cap it is the disc mapped onto the unit square.
Inputs
radius(Float, default 0.5, at least 0). The radius of its round cross-section, in metres.height(Float, default 1, at least 0). Its length along Y, in metres.
Outputs
geometry(Geometry). Triangles withP,Nanduvon their points; primitives carryvstartandvcount.
local post = g.mesh.cylinder({ radius = 0.1, height = 3 })
