points.box (procNode)
A 3D lattice of points centred on the origin: the centres of a grid.box's cells, laid out x fastest, then y, then z. Use it for volumes of evenly spaced points: voxel cells, crowds in ranks, stacks.
The centres of a grid.box whose cells are spacing apart, as Points numbered by id. A count is rounded down and is at least 1.
Built from: grid.box, points.from_grid, math.*.
Inputs
countX(Float, default 3, at least 1). How many points along X. Below 1 reads as 1.countY(Float, default 3, at least 1). How many points along Y. 1 collapses the lattice to a flat sheet at y = 0.countZ(Float, default 3, at least 1). How many points along Z. Below 1 reads as 1.spacing(Float, default 1). Distance between neighbouring points, the same on all three axes.
Outputs
points(Points). countX * countY * countZ points carryingPandid(0 upward in lattice order).
local cells = g.points.box({ countX = 4, countY = 2, countZ = 3, spacing = 0.5 })
