value.get (procNode)

One field of a record value, by a dotted path: vertexCount, bounds.max.y, centroid.x. Each name is a member read, and a name the value does not have is refused, naming where the walk stopped. How a graph reads one number out of the Data record a node such as topology.islands or sdf.mesh's info answers.

Inputs

• data (Record): the value to read a field out of. Unwired is refused.
• path (String, default ""): the field, as dot-separated names from the value's top: volume, bounds.min.x. Empty answers the value itself.

Outputs

• value (Any): the field.
