proc.cooks

The live registry of cook records. A Generator opens a record for each cook it runs (begin), the evaluator marks each node as it starts (progress), and the owner closes it (finish with "done", "failed" or "cancelled", or withdraw for a cook the history does not keep). Tools and inspectors read active() (the cooks running now), recent() (the most recently finished, newest first), presents() and lastPresent(owner) (the frames generators presented) to see what is cooking, how far along it is, how long it took and, on failure, which node broke. The procgen toolbox's cooks tool reads this registry.
