proc.ops.decimate

Reduce a Geometry's triangle count by quadric-error edge collapse. geometry.decimate repeatedly collapses the edge whose removal moves the surface least, and stops when the count, the ratio or the deviation the caller asked for is reached. The deviation (error, reported as info.maxError) is an area-weighted RMS distance in metres. A constrained boundary or crease edge is collapsed last.

ops(geometry, fields, types) returns the family as a map of op id to op def; procPacks/decimate.procPack registers it. A graph calls one of its ops as g.op.<id>({ ... }) and a script as proc.ops.<family>.<op>(...); the procgen toolbox's describeNode answers each in full.
