proc.ops.groups
Named selections over a domain's element classes. A group is a named 0/1 attribute on one class (point, vertex, primitive or edge): element i belongs to it when its column reads 1. The column is an ordinary attribute under the group's name, so every op that reads an attribute by name takes a group. A __groups detail attribute indexes which columns are groups, which is what group.list reports and what tells an empty group from a mistyped name (answered with an error naming the groups that exist). Every op takes its class as class (default "point") and the selection it reads as group, a or b. Rings and islands run over the relations proc.ops.topology answers.
ops(geometry, fields, types) returns the family as a map of op id to op def; procPacks/group.procPack registers it. A graph calls one of its ops as g.op.<id>({ ... }) and a script as proc.ops.<family>.<op>(...); the procgen toolbox's describeNode answers each in full.
Ops: group.by_bounds, group.by_island, group.by_normal, group.by_random, group.combine, group.create, group.expand, group.info, group.invert, group.list, group.remove, group.shrink.
Part of @builtin::systems.procgen.proc; required as @builtin::systems.procgen.proc.ops.groups.
