geometry.recalculate_normals (procNode)
Every vertex's normal averaged, by area, over the faces meeting it. The node is geometry.smooth_normals with a
crease angle of 180 degrees and area weighting, so no vertex splits: a vertex shared by two faces is smooth across
them, and one already split between two copies stays a hard edge.
Inputs
geometry(Geometry): whose surface the normals are read off. Attributes and material carry to the result.
Outputs
geometry: the geometry with recomputed per-vertex normals.
Which graph calls it
This node is built with proc.graph and g:node, and a proc.graph graph calls it as g:node("<id>", "geometry.recalculate_normals", ...). A graph built with proc.define calls g.geometry.recalculate_normals in its place, the node written in the call form; g.op.geometry.recalculate_normals there is refused, naming it.
