points
Point clouds: discs, poisson sets, points on a surface, a curve or a mesh's vertices, and the ops that relax them and look around them.
The definitions live in proc.ops.points; this pack is what puts them
in the op registry, so procgen.searchNodes("", { pack = "points" }) lists the family
and procgen.describeNode("op.<id>") describes any one of them.
Ops
points.disc— Points scattered in a disc on the XZ plane (optionally domed into a mound)points.poisson— Even (blue-noise) points in a disc, no two closer than minDistpoints.on_surface— Scatter points uniformly over a Geometry's surface (area-weighted, deterministic)points.from_vertices— A point at each of a Geometry's points (carrying the normal attribute)points.on_curve— Points evenly spaced along every curve of a geometry by arc lengthpoints.relax— Even out a point cloud's spacing via repulsion relaxationpoints.neighbors— What stands around each point, within a radius and optionally a cone: neighbour count, nearest distance, centroid, and the neighbours' mean of an attributepoints.count_neighbors— Count each point's occupied lattice neighbours (from an integer grid-coord attribute) into an Int attribute — the shell/erosion/flood/tiling primitive
points.grid, points.box and points.filter are nodes of the points nodebox
(g.points.grid, g.points.box, g.points.filter).
