MaterialAuthor.fromTexture
Wraps a single texture into a new material — the fastest path from having a texture to having a material you can apply. The texture may be a texture proxy, a .texture asset ref or identity, or a VFS image path. Its PBR slot can be given explicitly or is inferred from the texture's name, defaulting to base colour. Returns a live material ref.
This is an authoring action performed at design time: it writes a new source material asset. Never call it from gameplay code — at runtime you apply an already-authored material through the lower-level Material surface.
